Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and implementation of next-generation autonomous analytical data systems with cross-team collaboration.
•Deliver a highly scalable, available, and interoperable architecture for Managed Tables.
•Perform low-level systems debugging, performance measurement, and optimization on large production clusters.
•Influence product roadmap, own new projects, and build automation tools to improve operability of services.
•Mentor and up-level engineers on the team and plan/lead complex technical projects.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 228,600 - 314,250 annually

Key Requirements

•15+ years industry experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
•A BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
•Passion for database systems, storage systems, distributed systems, language design, or performance optimization.
•Experience working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
•Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures and their real-world use cases.
