Job Summary

Support ASML’s YieldStar metrology system at a new advanced-node customer in Austin—covering install, qualification, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair from pilot-line execution through HVM sustaining. You’ll act as one of the initial equipment engineers, owning tool performance and customer commitments while working closely with customer engineers, line managers, and ASML technical teams. Expect disciplined operational execution, root-cause diagnostics, escalation when needed, and structured continuous improvement.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Install, qualify, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair YieldStar metrology equipment at the customer site.
•Execute planned and unplanned maintenance independently and handle most technical problems.
•Diagnose issues, define action plans, and escalate with clear problem statements and technical communication when needed.
•Interface regularly with internal and external stakeholders on planning and progress to keep tools stable and performing to specification.
•Adhere to safety requirements and perform continuous improvement (e.g., defect/failure analysis reports, post-mortems, and procedure updates).

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s engineering degree or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Customer Support department for high-tech products.
•Minimum 2 years’ experience with ASML lithography/metrology systems or similar technology.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
•Ability to follow structured processes and timelines while working with attention to detail.
