Key Responsibilities

  • •Shovel, rake, and compact materials to prepare and pave asphalt.
  • •Operate tools and equipment (e.g., asphalt saw, concrete saw, chain saw) to remove asphalt and debris.
  • •Perform traffic control, including flagging and setting up signs, cones, and barriers.
  • •Assist with underground adjustments (e.g., manholes, catch basins) and staking for grade and pave operations.
  • •Load, unload, and clean tools/equipment, and communicate promptly with supervisors about material flaws while avoiding hazards.
