Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess contaminated soil, groundwater, and sediment sites by developing remediation and investigation strategies.
  • •Conduct and support Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), including field investigations and sampling.
  • •Interpret geological and hydrogeological conditions to characterize contaminant fate and transport and delineate contaminant plumes.
  • •Develop CSMs, remedial options analyses, remediation plans, feasibility studies, and closure strategies.
  • •Manage proposals (work scopes and budgets), schedules, and assigned project tasks while ensuring regulatory compliance and HSE adherence.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or environmental sciences discipline and 6 years of related experience.
  • •10–15 years of experience in contaminated sites assessment and remediation.
  • •Hands-on experience with field investigations, data interpretation, and remediation.
  • •Strong understanding of soil and groundwater contamination processes, including familiarity with regulations applying to Manitoba and Western Canada.
  • •Professional Engineer / Professional Geoscientist (P.Eng/P.Geo) designation (Manitoba priority).
