Job Summary

Operate PUR foaming equipment to inject insulating foam into products such as polyethylene and fiberglass containers, cryogenic freezers, and CO2 storage tanks. Follow procedures and manufacturer recommendations, monitor foaming system conditions (temperature, nitrogen pressure, tank fill), and perform quality checks to spot defects and ensure raw materials meet specifications. Maintain tools and fixtures, keep the area clean, practice safe handling, and report problems to supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

•Inject insulating foam into products while following company procedures and manufacturer operating recommendations.
•Monitor the foaming system and equipment conditions, including foam room temperature control, nitrogen pressure, and tank fill percentage, and report problems to supervisors.
•Recognize product defects, voids, or flaws and determine likely causes; confirm raw material specifications through periodic quality checks.
•Maintain tools, equipment, and jigs/fixtures (clean, wax, properly adjust), including cleaning fixtures after completion and reporting needed repairs.
•Maintain good housekeeping and continually practice safe operation and handling; overtime is required at times.
