Job Summary

Join the CPAV (Claims Preparation, Advocacy and Valuation) team within Aon’s Global Risk Consulting group to calculate business interruption losses and exposures and prepare complex claims submissions for commercial clients. You’ll analyze financial and supporting documentation, substantiate expenditures under policy terms, compile submissions through negotiated settlement, and present methodologies to clients, insurers, and advisors, while supporting claims to closure and contributing to practice growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with clients to determine appropriate business interruption calculation methodologies and analyze financial, statistical, and supporting documentation.
•Quantify business interruption losses and exposures, collate and allocate expenditure items, and substantiate claims under policy terms.
•Compile interim claim submissions through to final submissions, supporting negotiated settlements and claims closure.
•Present claim calculations and executive summaries to clients, insurers, and third-party advisors, and liaise with relevant parties throughout the process.
•Provide pre-loss business interruption assessments and contribute to practice group growth by developing client relationships and improving service offerings.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•7+ years’ experience as a qualified loss adjuster, forensic accountant, financial auditor, insolvency, claims consultant, or equivalent.
•Financial accounting background and experience with multinational clients or commercial lines.
•Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
•Strong policy interpretation and technical insurance skills (cyber/energy/power experience is a plus).
•Ability to effectively explain technical concepts and work across client/internal teams.
