Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop category strategies, value creation plans, and business cases; provide data, analysis, opportunity assessments, and market intelligence.
  • •Compile and execute sourcing events; support negotiations and finalize GFAs and contract amendments.
  • •Accountable for contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring contract administration and supplier performance management are executed promptly and with quality.
  • •Implement value creation and supplier engagement strategies aligned to global supply chain priorities, including monitoring category/contract/supplier performance against KPIs.
  • •Embed and deliver Inclusive Procurement and Sustainable Value (ESG/TCO, innovation, working capital, cost reduction) while ensuring compliance with governance and legislative requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •6 to 8 years of relevant experience across the supply chain value chain with strong technical knowledge.
  • •Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management/Procurement or relevant discipline (NQF7); postgraduate qualification preferred (NQF8).
  • •Sound knowledge of commercial negotiation, deal-making, business case development, and investment appraisal.
  • •Category management, sourcing, and contracting with a total cost of ownership approach, including supplier relationship management.
  • •Knowledge of integrating commercial, PSC, supplier management, purchasing sub-disciplines, and regional/local inclusive procurement requirements.
