Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, execute, and manage VMware HCX migrations from on premises to cloud or between data centers.
  • •Assess current environments and select optimal migration strategies using HCX capabilities.
  • •Deploy and configure HCX components including Manager, Interconnect, Network Extension, and WAN Optimization.
  • •Troubleshoot HCX-related issues across network, compute, and storage layers.
  • •Create migration runbooks and validation reports, and provide post-migration support and performance optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience with VMware HCX, vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
  • •Knowledge of networking concepts including VPN, IPsec, VLAN, NSX, and firewalls.
  • •Experience with data center migrations, infrastructure transformation, and workload planning.
  • •Understanding of disaster recovery and BCDR strategies.
  • •Familiarity with storage and replication technologies (plus).
