Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage an allocated caseload from receipt through to vetting outcome, prioritising activity based on demand, intake dates, and service levels.
  • •Administer BPSS and UKSV requirements for Armed Forces candidates in line with MOD, Armed Forces, contractual, and Serco guidance.
  • •Complete identity, Right to Work, criminality, employment and activity-history checks, references, gap checks, and other required screening activity.
  • •Review forms, documents, and information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; identify discrepancies and request further evidence where required.
  • •Maintain accurate, auditable records in relevant systems and provide clear, timely updates to candidates; escalate complex or non-standard cases to the Team Manager or specialist.
