Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow up and compile historical data for target entities within Dubai's social services sector and review analytical studies to prepare proposed budget ceilings.
  • •Communicate with government departments within the social services sector regarding proposed and approved budgets and monitor implementation of related directives.
  • •Prepare and deliver reporting letters on budget ceilings to all relevant departments and ensure accompanying general and specific visas where applicable.
  • •Review and receive proposed budgets from identified departments, analyze within set timelines, and recommend actions for any over-expenditure.
  • •Audit and enter approved budgets into the accounting system and distribute approved budgets to the relevant accounting lines for the departments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related fields with 3 years of experience in similar work
  • •Professional certifications in the field (e.g., CPA) would be an asset
  • •Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting and coordinating with multiple government entities
  • •Proficiency with accounting systems and budgeting processes; ability to prepare and review budget reports and dashboards
