Job Summary

Join the European Online Safety Investigations team within Global Regulatory to lead regulatory enforcement and investigations with European and national regulators. You will advise on digital safety and content enforcement matters, with a focus on the Digital Services Act and Online Safety Act across the EU and UK. Partner with internal stakeholders to support governance and enforcement policy programs and manage complex, multi-jurisdictional investigations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead strategy and execution of regulatory enforcement and investigations on digital safety rules with European and national regulators.
•Support digital regulatory matters, including enforcement processes related to the Digital Services Act and Online Safety Act in the EU and UK, focusing on online safety and content regulation.
•Collaborate with and advise internal stakeholders on regulatory online safety and content enforcement matters.
•Support online safety and content regulation governance and enforcement policy programs.

Key Requirements

•Significant post-qualification experience in a regulatory legal compliance role in private practice or an established in-house function.
•Experience advising on laws related to user generated content, including the Digital Services Act (EU) and Online Safety Act (UK).
•Ability to manage many high-profile, fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional regulatory investigations in ambiguous environments.
•Previous experience advising on practical implementation of new laws and/or regulatory dispute matters.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including advising senior executives.
