Job Summary

Design and develop next-generation aircraft seating by partnering with sales, engineering, and external airline and industrial design customers. Serve as a primary technical point of contact, coordinate production drawings/documentation, and use 3D modeling and CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, Pro-E, Catia) to create assembly details, BOMs, and prototypes. Lead testing support, documentation, and design reviews to ensure compliance with technical specifications, RFPs, and SOWs.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with sales, engineering, and management to ensure compliance with technical specifications, RFPs, and SOWs.
•Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external customers and coordinate with engineering teams.
•Coordinate and prepare production drawings and documentation, including assembly details, models, and BOMs.
•Design seats using CAD/3D modeling to meet customer requirements; create new designs and modify existing ones.
•Support engineering testing and complete documentation for procurement, fabrication, and testing; participate in design reviews.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.

•Experience working with CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, Pro-E, and/or Catia.
•Experience with full product life cycle using 3D modeling in a production environment.
•Project leadership experience.
