Job Summary

Hands-on role embedded with the Product Development & Design team to design platform-level engineering solutions for furniture products. You’ll develop scalable assembly systems, reduce part counts, and optimize for cost, quality, and logistics while collaborating closely with furniture designers. Based in Montreal area, you’ll solve real engineering problems from concept to production readiness and help shape a brand-new Cozey engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate closely with designers to tackle complex engineering problems from concept through production readiness.
•Design and develop platform-level innovations (assembly systems, connection mechanisms, cover attachment solutions) that can be reused across product lines.
•Simplify existing product platforms by reducing part counts, improving tolerances, and lowering cost without compromising customer experience.
•Improve product quality, reduce cost, and optimize for transportation and logistics through continuous value creation.
•Address packaging constraints by designing solutions for foam specs, fabric covers, and structural components, and assist factories with technical problem solving.
