Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as operational lead for the UK office, leading monthly revenue forecasting, fee tracking, and financial performance monitoring.
  • •Review and validate project forecasts with Division Leads; monitor KPIs including backlog, pipeline, resource utilisation, and financial delivery; prepare monthly fee forecasts, management reports, and MFRs.
  • •Oversee invoicing and cash collection: validate draft invoices, coordinate billing between Project Managers and Finance, monitor WIP/aged receivables/debtor balances, and escalate risks/issues.
  • •Develop and maintain monthly business performance dashboards and management reports; analyse KPIs and support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
  • •Support business development and workforce planning through opportunity/market monitoring, bid/no-bid commercial assessments, proposal input, and recruitment/resource forecasting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • •At least 5–8 years’ experience in engineering consulting, project management, cost consultancy and/or contracts administration in multidisciplinary professional services.
  • •Experience supporting operational and commercial functions in a project-based consultancy environment.
  • •Experience coordinating invoicing and reporting/business support activities.
  • •Strong organisational and analytical capability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced consultancy setting.
