Lead R&D efforts for new laminate and packaging-related products by locating/developing raw materials with suppliers and identifying product opportunities. Run and summarize plant coater and customer converting trials in India, set technical specifications and datasheets, troubleshoot technical issues, and support sales and marketing launches.

Key Responsibilities

•Locate or develop new raw materials with suppliers and define requirements for new laminate products using VoC/CTQs.
•Identify new product opportunities and assess commercial feasibility with PLT teams.
•Set project timelines and cross-functionally manage new product development projects to ensure market introduction is on schedule.
•Coordinate coater trials and converting trials, collate trial summaries, and establish technical specifications and product datasheets.
•Troubleshoot technical issues, modify/customize products for customer needs, and support sales and marketing launches.

Key Requirements

•Graduate/Masters in Engineering (Chemical/Polymer science).
•2-3 years of related technical experience.
•Minimum 2 years in packaging film/paper manufacturing, adhesive compounding, or related industries.
•Experience with product development and product commercialization processes.
•Strong project management, problem-solving/analytical, and customer-focused skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
