Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow instructions from the foreperson or supervisor to complete daily tasks.
  • •Shovel and rake materials regularly and assist truck drivers with loading and dumping.
  • •Operate equipment (e.g., power brooms, plate compactors, bobcats/loaders, pipe saws, pumps, generators, jack hammers, vibratory rollers) as trained.
  • •Support maintenance and repairs of plant equipment and conduct pre-shift safety inspections.
  • •Help clean and maintain plant and quarry areas, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to DOT/OSHA/MSHA safety regulations.
