Job Summary

Own Health, Safety & Security programs across Wise’s Americas offices, serving as the regional HSS authority and ensuring compliance that exceeds local regulations. Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the HSS authority for Americas offices, developing and implementing programs aligned with and exceeding local regulations.
•Proactively build and manage risk-reduction programs to prevent incidents and promote a healthy workplace, including risk assessments and support for office expansions.
•Act as a core member of the Workplace Incident Management Team to respond to crises, emergencies, and business continuity needs.
•Oversee relationships with health, safety, and security vendors to ensure compliance, service quality, and alignment with organizational standards.
•Collaborate with regional managers and global Workplace Risk and Compliance leadership to deliver training, maintain fire marshal and first-aid programs, and shape HSS policies worldwide.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Properly registered and certified Occupational Safety Technician with at least five years of HSS experience across multiple international locations.
•Registered with the federal government’s SIRPWEB system, meeting requirements of Regulatory Standard Four (NR-4).
•Strong working knowledge of HSS laws and regulations across the Americas and comfort with regular domestic/international travel.
•Hands-on crisis and emergency management experience, able to provide calm, effective support under pressure.
•Fluent English and Portuguese, able to clearly communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences.
