Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate, consolidate, and analyze significant portions of annual sales, production, and fixed/variable cost budgets for the Polyethylene business.
  • •Serve as a strategic finance business partner by translating market drivers, operational performance, and forward scenarios into actionable insights.
  • •Perform monthly financial analysis and ad hoc special business performance analysis to influence decisions on profitability, margin, cost management, and working capital.
  • •Lead annual budget and LRP preparation, and provide monthly forecasting for income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • •Act as a focal point for General Ledger/SAP accounting issues, ensure accounting compliance to LYB policies, and identify/measure KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8+ years of experience in a multi-entity, complex global environment with strong financial or business analysis experience.
  • •Experience using ERP and financial planning systems such as SAP and other planning tools.
  • •Strong financial modeling skills, including forecast, margin, scenario/sensitivity, working capital, and cash flow models.
  • •Ability to provide strategic finance business partnership—translating financial results and drivers into actionable recommendations and constructively challenging assumptions.
  • •Strong accounting principles knowledge and attention to detail to ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial/accounting information.
