  • •Lead and assist planning policy and strategy projects, including supporting local authority policy and strategy development and delivering evidence studies.
  • •Provide strategic planning advice to client and internal teams and represent the organisation with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery within budget and programme timelines.
  • •Contribute to deliverables produced by the planning policy team while implementing quality assurance and health and safety principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant relevant experience leading and contributing to planning policy and strategy development in a consultancy or public sector role.
  • •Client focus with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
  • •Existing relationships with clients and local authorities.
  • •Experience producing high quality technical reports and delivering excellent communication.
  • •A degree in Town Planning (or related discipline) and membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent professional body.
