Key Responsibilities

•Drive Strategic Thought Partnership: Build and implement department-level talent strategy initiatives, driving talent planning efforts that align directly with business outcomes.
•Consult and Advise: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to functional leads and leadership teams across Japan, APAC, and globally, leading complex people situations and supporting leaders in building their own capability.
•Lead Change Management: Partner with senior leaders to develop scalable change strategies and drive needed initiatives, proactively planning for contingencies and championing the Asana vision.
•Navigate Ambiguity: Identify root issues and operational needs in complex situations, presenting pragmatic findings and socializing change with clarity to senior stakeholders.
•Manage Cross-Functional Programs: Collaborate with International People Partner Leader, global People Partners, and Centers of Excellence to execute core people programs, including onboarding, performance management, probation processes, learning and development, and employee engagement.

Key Requirements

•6–8 years of HR experience with a demonstrated track record as a strategic HR Business Partner or Organizational Consultant.
•Deep local HR experience across Japan and the APAC region, with a focus on handling Japanese employee and labor relations.
•Professional fluency in both Japanese and English to support regional and global stakeholder communication.
•Change leadership experience with a proven ability to navigate large-scale organizational change and drive complex projects with minimal direction.
•Strong data literacy and ability to interpret people data to identify trends and drive data-backed decisions.
