Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively manage an assigned caseload of complex property claims, including evaluating coverage and potential legal liability.
  • •Investigate claim damages using information from insured, third parties, and external sources; identify discrepancies and subrogation potential.
  • •Identify coverage concerns and determine/create Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals when appropriate, based on complex policy terms and contingencies.
  • •Determine and negotiate complex claims settlements within authority limits and manage outcomes, collaborating with management as needed.
  • •Maintain accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation; support CAT response and may conduct in-person inspections and travel as required.

  • •2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience with moderate complexity losses and written estimates for dwelling and structural damages
