Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage multiple related teams by setting organizational priorities and allocating resources.
  • •Develop departmental plans covering business, production, and/or organizational priorities and guide decisions by resource availability and functional objectives.
  • •Oversee administrative and technical management of the commissioning department, including coordinating work across disciplines, offices, fabrication, and construction.
  • •Execute employee appraisals, collect training requests/needs, provide performance feedback, and facilitate professional development and mandatory training completion.
  • •Ensure execution governance and improvement: resolve findings and corrective actions, implement communication and compliance with McDermott policies and procedures, and support proposals and project execution planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
  • •20+ years of experience with proven leadership experience, including significant management experience.
  • •Multi-disciplinary expertise within commissioning and basic knowledge of other functions to improve effectiveness and influence processes and policies.
  • •Effective communication skills to establish relationships with discipline managers, technical engineers, and non-engineers; presentation skills required.
  • •Excellent computer software skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other engineering software programs.
