Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, coordinate, and oversee enterprise data migration, conversion, and archival efforts for the CMM Data Modernization & Governance program.
  • •Develop migration strategies, schedules, dependencies, and execution procedures; build and maintain migration scripts and SQL/ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • •Execute extraction, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and post-load validation, including data profiling, cleansing, mapping, and QA testing.
  • •Manage cutover activities (pre-checks, execution, validation, sign-off) and support testing, mock runs, rehearsals, and rollback procedures.
  • •Tune and monitor migration jobs and pipelines for throughput, uptime, and cost efficiency; document procedures/runbooks and support security/compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •MA/MS with 5+ years (or BS/BA with 7+ years) in information systems, including 5+ years specialized data migration/engineering experience.
  • •Strong data engineering and architecture background with deep ETL/ELT and migration experience (Informatica, Talend, AWS DMS, ADF).
  • •Skilled in Python, Bash, and SQL for building migration scripts, validation, and reconciliation.
  • •Expertise in AWS data migration services, cloud-native data platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • •Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms/tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, plus strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
