Job Summary

Lead maintenance operations for a highly automated meat processing facility, directing maintenance staff and ensuring safe, reliable uptime of production and ancillary equipment. Implement total productive maintenance (TPM) strategies, plan and document work using a CMMS, and coordinate maintenance best practices with engineering and operational partners. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, USDA, SQF, PSM, HAACP, and other governing standards while coaching and developing direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement TPM-based maintenance procedures for production and ancillary equipment to maintain reliable uptime.
•Plan, schedule, and document maintenance activities using a CMMS; coordinate maintenance plans with the maintenance planner.
•Direct daily work of production maintenance staff to complete planned and unplanned maintenance.
•Oversee maintenance of business-critical records, documents, and blueprints for maintenance assets and equipment.
•Ensure maintenance work and projects comply with applicable standards and regulations (including OSHA, EPA, USDA, SQF, PSM, and HAACP) while coaching and developing direct reports.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
•5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, with prior leadership experience preferred.
•Advanced knowledge of highly automated production equipment systems and maintenance practices.
•Solid understanding of compressed air and 3-phase industrial power systems.
•Knowledge of PLC, HMI, motor control systems, and ability to read P&ID diagrams. Must understand NFPA 70E (Arc Flash) requirements and TPM pillars.
