Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the strategic roadmap and execution for accounting data infrastructure, including data pipelines, integrations, and automation platforms.
  • •Partner with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate regulatory and operational requirements into auditable backend systems.
  • •Lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting technical direction and building a high-performance culture.
  • •Improve data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and system scalability to enable faster close cycles and audit readiness.
  • •Ensure data products are reliable, scalable, and well governed through hands-on technical delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in data or software engineering, including 2+ years leading engineering teams.
  • •Hands-on expertise with modern data infrastructure tools such as Fivetran, dbt Cloud, Snowflake, and Workato.
  • •Strong working knowledge of financial processes including revenue recognition, reconciliation, and close workflows.
  • •Experience with distributed systems and building production data pipelines and platforms at scale.
  • •Clear communication and ability to align Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and Engineering on technical tradeoffs and delivery timelines.
