Job Summary

Lead technical water support for downstream chemical customers across North America, from pre-planning through job execution and post-job analysis. Collaborate with Service Delivery, Sales, and Technology teams to design technical programs and risk mitigation plans, provide on-demand recommendations for cooling, boiler, and wastewater applications, and deliver technical presentations. Conduct audits and hazard analyses, support field incidents and investigations, and provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead water technical support efforts across existing and new customer accounts, including pre-planning, execution, and post-job analysis.
•Partner with Service Delivery, Sales, and Technology to design technical job programs and risk mitigation plans to meet objectives and maximize revenue potential.
•Provide on-demand technical support for cooling, boiler, and wastewater applications in refineries, including recommendations for new chemical applications.
•Interface with key customers at both corporate and field facilities, building trusting relationships and collaborating with field teams on technical and innovative solutions.
•Perform annual technical audits/health checks, conduct job hazard analysis, and support operations, technology, and manufacturing with technical leadership as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Chemical Engineering preferred).
•Minimum 10+ years of downstream refining experience or 5+ years industrial water process/plants experience.
•Solid understanding of cooling water, boiler and digital technologies, plus wastewater treatment plants and industry standards.
•5+ years of field/operations/application support experience with the ability to function independently and in a team environment.
•Available to travel up to 50% and be available on call outside of normal business hours.
