Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership to design teams and mentor junior team members to deliver schemes to time, quality, and budget.
  • •Oversee multi-disciplinary projects, managing budgets and financial performance while coordinating resources and team setup.
  • •Work directly with clients to develop trusted relationships, manage expectations, and advise comprehensively throughout delivery.
  • •Undertake technical preparation, review, and checking of deliverables, including design drawings, standard construction details, specifications, and bill of quantities to support tender packages.
  • •Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation and in-house quality assurance standards and processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Civil Engineer or Incorporated Engineer with extensive post-professional experience.
  • •A broad range of highways-focused project experience, including leading single or multiple design disciplines across relevant road/transport schemes.
  • •Ability to use, direct, and check design outputs using tools such as Autodesk Civils 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, InfoDrainage and/or PDS.
  • •Commercial and strategic capability, including identifying and delivering new business opportunities, with clear communication of impacts on programme, cost, and quality.
  • •Preferably able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).
