Job Summary

Lead hardware production projects for CAE's simulation training devices, guiding planning, manufacturing, assembly and installation. You will monitor progress, manage risks, coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Finance, Hardware Engineering, Procurement, QA, Logistics) to ensure on-time delivery and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Attend project kickoff meetings to be aware of project schedules and overall requirements.
•Support generation of a Hardware Development Plan specific to execution of production effort and ensure producibility.
•Generate Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for new cost proposals and update existing BOEs when scope changes.
•Coordinate with Test Engineers and Manufacturing to ensure designs are testable and production-ready.
•Interface with subcontractors and external teams to maintain schedule and to ensure deployment documentation is complete.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Technical College Degree with 6 years of related experience in aerospace or an equivalent combination of technical education related to electronics, electro-mechanical, computer, aviation, or simulation technology.
