Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead client visioning and engagement, and provide design thinking and thought leadership while mentoring and coaching staff.
  • •Own the end-to-end interior design lifecycle from visioning and programming through schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • •Develop complex, code-compliant interior design drawing packages and ensure quality through review, coordination of corrections, and QA/QC support.
  • •Coordinate project information and resolve discrepancies, including reviewing vendor/supplier documents and supporting updates across disciplines.
  • •Plan and monitor staffing, labor budgets, and man-hours; track schedule, budget, and risks; identify scope changes and support change control processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture and 8 years of related interior design experience in commercial and government interior construction projects.
  • •NCIDQ certification required.
  • •US citizenship required for the nature of the projects.
  • •Experience applying building codes, standards, and ADA requirements, including space planning and coordination with other disciplines.
  • •Experience with contract interiors FF&E and documenting FF&E specifications for interior design packages.
