Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on schedule, obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and perform routine service (e.g., checking oil/water/gas/air) while reporting malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or appropriate chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight.
  • •Pass background and drug testing per federal/state transportation regulations and pass a DOT physical.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
  • •Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and perform prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to speak professionally with customers and staff.
