Job Summary

Guard, patrol, and monitor the venue to protect guests, employees, and property by preventing theft, violence, and rule violations. You’ll circulate through the venue, manage entrances and departures, patrol doors/windows/gates, operate detecting devices/metal detector equipment, and write reports on incidents and irregularities. You may also escort individuals to locations and help close out after shows as part of the venue’s safety and sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities

•Guard, patrol, and/or monitor venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
•Circulate among guests/employees to preserve safety, order, and protect venue property.
•Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of people to maintain security and safety.
•Patrol doors, windows, and gates; detect signs of intrusion; report daily activities and irregularities.
•Operate detecting devices/metal detector equipment to screen individuals and prevent prohibited items from restricted areas.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17 - 19 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must have NYS security license before working your first day.
•High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
•Security or law enforcement experience preferred; Guard Card a plus.
•Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures.
•Ability to make independent, good-judgment decisions within policy and procedures while performing duties professionally.
