Job Summary

Own the end-to-end technical relationship with customers deploying Arango’s AI product suite, turning business problems into working architectures on Arango’s multi-model platform. Design GraphRAG and knowledge-graph solutions, build prototypes and reference implementations to prove value early, and guide secure production deployment. Collaborate with engineers on hybrid retrieval, pipelines, evaluation, observability, and governance while shaping the product roadmap with field learnings.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical customer relationship across discovery, design, pilot, production, and expansion as the primary professional services contact.
•Design target architectures on Arango’s multi-model platform, including graph data models, AQL patterns, and GraphRAG retrieval design tailored to the customer domain.
•Build reference implementations and prototypes (graph schema, connectors, GraphRAG pipelines, orchestration, APIs) to prove value early.
•Guide secure, observable production deployments with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, testing, and role-based access, governance, and auditing.
•Establish evaluation and monitoring practices (quality, drift, hallucinations/guardrails, latency/cost) and iterate retrieval strategy, prompts/models, and graph structure using metrics and A/B tests.

Key Requirements

•Deep graph expertise, including graph data modeling, query/traversal, graph algorithms, and knowledge-graph design for AI.
•Hands-on experience building GraphRAG or knowledge-graph-backed retrieval for LLM applications.
•5+ years building and operating production systems in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical professional services.
•Strong applied AI and Python skills, plus solid understanding of data structures, systems design, concurrency, and networking.
•Experience across modern LLM tooling and retrieval/vector databases, and working knowledge of cloud, containers, IaC, CI/CD, and observability.
