Key Responsibilities

  • •System Administration: Maintain the BlackLine platform, including user roles, permissions, and security settings; support system updates/upgrades; monitor performance and troubleshoot issues; ensure data integrity and security; configure master data and calendar maintenance; manage interfaces from subledgers/ERPs.
  • •User Support: Provide training and support to BlackLine users; troubleshoot user issues; maintain user documentation and training materials; guide access roles and reconciliation assignments.
  • •Financial Process Alignment: Execute strategic projects to configure BlackLine to support processes; optimize usage and drive automation enhancements; collaborate with finance and IT on integrations and improvements.
  • •Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and dashboards to track system usage and performance; analyze data for trends and improvements; support financial audits (internal, external, SOX).
  • •Testing & Quality Assurance: Test BlackLine implementations and existing functionality to ensure intended operation; coordinate with consultants on process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 1 years of related work experience.
  • •Strong understanding of financial systems, particularly accounting and financial close processes. Experience with BlackLine is required.
  • •SAP and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience is considered an asset.
  • •Background in working with FTP Servers and API connections is also an asset.
  • •Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
