Job Summary

Oversee Visa DPS Core Clearing and Settlement batch applications on the IBM z/OS390 platform, ensuring integrity, high availability, and stable production operations. Lead incident/problem resolution in both production and development, support software maintenance releases, and guide client implementations and integration testing. Drive performance improvements through monitoring and capacity/infrastructure recommendations, coordinate disaster recovery, and implement automation to reduce manual mainframe operations. Provide technical guidance across teams and support 24x7 on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee 2nd and 3rd level incident and problem resolution for production and development environments.
•Collaborate with application development teams to manage and support software maintenance releases and client implementations on IBM z/OS390.
•Lead testing and certification for new DPS software and client integrations, serving as the primary escalation point for complex issues.
•Initiate and manage proactive measures to ensure stable, reliable batch processing and monitor performance metrics to recommend infrastructure enhancements.
•Coordinate disaster recovery execution, document architectures/processes, and design automation to streamline mainframe operations while supporting 24x7 on-call rotations.

Salary: USD 163,500 - 261,500 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 7+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 4+ years with a PhD.
•12-15 years of experience supporting or developing IBM z/OS390 applications, specifically Connex Advantage clearing and settlement batch applications.
•12-15 years of support or development experience with COBOL/JCL.
•12-15 years of experience with EFT settlement and transaction processing, and with FILE-AID.
•12-15 years experience with scheduling software (ESP, Control-M, CA7) and transmission methods (FTP/SSL, FTP/SSH, NDM over SSL/TLS).
