Job Summary

Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile equipment safely during the 3rd shift at a Tilcon New York site. You’ll perform daily work area inspections, complete housekeeping and time entries, manage work orders in CMMS, and accurately record fuel and equipment meter readings. The role includes safe fueling, cutting and welding, reading service/parts manuals and schematics, and following MSHA standards to keep a safe operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely diagnose problems, make repairs, and perform services on mobile equipment in a safe and timely manner.
•Inspect the work area daily, maintain a safe and clean work area, and perform housekeeping as directed by the foreman.
•Accurately account for time spent working on equipment and submit time entries in the Infield system.
•Manage work orders in a CMMS system and properly complete requests for parts and work order forms.
•Fuel equipment safely (including operating a fuel truck), record equipment numbers, fuel used, and meter readings, and learn/implement MSHA standards.

Key Requirements

•High school or equivalent.
•Experience maintaining light, medium, and heavy on- and off-highway gas, propane, and diesel-powered equipment and tugboats.
•Proficiency troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, hydraulic, power train, and other systems on vehicles/equipment/tugboats.
•Ability to cut and weld proficiently.
•Ability to read, understand, and follow service, repair, operator, and parts manuals and schematics.
