Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on a variety of inspection projects.
  • •Participate in bridge, tunnel, and ancillary inspections as a team member.
  • •Assist in preparing bridge and tunnel load ratings and preliminary calculations/analysis.
  • •Develop plans and sketches using AutoCAD and support project research, field work, and preliminary design work.
  • •Support preparation of cost proposals, scope of work documents, and collect/maintain project documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •3 to 5 years of experience in bridge, tunnel, ancillary inspection, design, or related infrastructure work.
  • •Engineer in Training Certification.
  • •Physically capable of continuous field work, including working at heights, adverse weather, and working at night or around moving vehicles.
  • •Valid Driver’s License (successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record check required) and strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
