Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation), including secure landing zones.
  • •Automate deployment pipelines and operational processes using CI/CD and scripting.
  • •Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost optimisation, and manage networking and IAM policies (security groups, VPCs, governance controls).
  • •Support containerised and serverless workloads using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and AWS Lambda.
  • •Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues across development, test, and production, and implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in an IT Service/Support function.
  • •Knowledge of IT technologies including PowerShell scripting, VBA scripting, and TCP/IP networking.
  • •Experience working with 3rd party IT service suppliers and partners.
  • •Experience working within large, matrixed organisations.
  • •Ability to explain technical concepts to multiple stakeholders and make evaluative judgments to resolve complex scenarios.
