Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial information for the Serbian entity using effective procedures.
  • •Prepare and post journal entries in NetSuite and monitor postings done by other accounting functions.
  • •Lead hands-on month-end close activities, meeting deadlines and proactively reviewing balances.
  • •Prepare financial statements under applicable local GAAP and complete US/local GAAP reconciliations.
  • •Support statutory audit deliverables and review outsourced partner work/service levels, while driving process improvements and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA).
  • •Minimum 3 years of PQE, preferably from a Big Four firm and/or a multinational organization.
  • •In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs; US GAAP is a plus.
  • •Proficiency with accounting systems (including NetSuite) and strong analytical skills.
  • •Ability to work cross-functionally, independently under pressure, and deliver results against deadlines.
