Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect the Amazon Bedrock integration, including agent/action group configuration, backend APIs, model access, throughput, and cross-environment deployment.
  • •Own the end-to-end retrieval data pipeline from ingestion and chunking through embeddings and storage in OpenSearch Serverless, optimizing index design, cost, and capacity.
  • •Extend ingestion pipelines for internal knowledge, ocean data, and customer platform data, including handling geospatial and large-binary datasets.
  • •Secure the AI infrastructure with Bedrock Guardrails, VPC/PrivateLink boundaries, least-privilege IAM, audit trails, and governance for autonomous agent actions.
  • •Implement LLMOps and observability (tracing, tool calls, retrieval performance) and build evaluation frameworks with automated release gates.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in software and infrastructure engineering with deep production backend experience (Python or TypeScript preferred, Go acceptable) and staff-level ownership.
  • •Hands-on experience standing up Amazon Bedrock in production, including agents, knowledge bases, guardrails, model access, and throughput/quota decisions.
  • •Containerized service deployment experience on ECS, EKS, or Lambda, plus CI/CD you have owned (not just inherited).
  • •Practical RAG and vector search at production scale, including embeddings/chunking, semantic search quality, and managed vector databases like OpenSearch Serverless, Pinecone, or pgvector.
  • •Strong AWS expertise across IAM least privilege, VPC/PrivateLink, Lambda, S3, KMS, CloudWatch, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation).
