Job Summary

Design and operate scalable Azure infrastructure for data and analytics environments in a DevOps Competence Center. Build infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines, and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS with secure networking, identity (OAuth2/OpenID Connect, Entra ID), monitoring, and governance via Azure Policies. Collaborate with development/operations teams to improve reliability, security, and performance while supporting high-availability and redundancy patterns.

Key Responsibilities

•Automate and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates.
•Develop PowerShell and YAML scripts to support CI/CD pipelines and automation tasks.
•Implement and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services with performance and cost management.
•Configure Azure networking components (Application Gateways and Azure Firewalls) and enforce identity/authentication and governance.
•Monitor infrastructure performance and support scaling, redundancy, and database support (basic SQL) for deployments and operations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Informatics (or equivalent working experience).
•Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in a DevOps Engineer role.
•Strong experience with Terraform, YAML, and PowerShell scripting.
•Proficient with Azure infrastructure components (IaaS and PaaS).
•Experience with Azure networking, identity protocols (OAuth2/OpenID Connect with Entra ID), and Azure Policies.
