Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform alterations and adjustments to uniforms and issued garments.
  • •Hem trousers and sleeves, adjust waistlines, and repair seams, zippers, buttons, and garment components.
  • •Take accurate measurements and mark garments for proper fit.
  • •Operate industrial and standard sewing machines safely and efficiently.
  • •Maintain alteration records, support garment issue/turn-in when necessary, and keep the workspace clean and organized.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous tailoring or sewing experience preferred.
  • •Knowledge of garment construction and alteration techniques.
  • •Ability to operate industrial sewing equipment.
  • •Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • •Pass pre-employment drug test and background screening, and obtain/maintain a CAC; hold a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
