Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide rich synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences and personalize instruction based on student mastery.
  • •Monitor and manage learning through the learning management system, maintain grade book, and act on placement/promotion decisions.
  • •Communicate with students and learning coaches/parents and provide support for curricular issues and virtual classroom troubleshooting.
  • •Augment course content using prescribed policies and procedures under guidance from principal and coach, including using appropriate tools.
  • •Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests and travel as required for school functions and professional development.
Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 47,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Michigan teaching certification required with a Biology Science endorsement.
  • •Must reside in Michigan.
  • •Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license.
  • •Ability to clear required background check.
  • •Experience teaching the proposed age group and/or in online and/or brick-and-mortar settings is desired.
