Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and train employees in electrical and avionics-based aircraft skills.
  • •Coach major electrical aircraft modification operations including sealing, wrapping, bonding, soldering, crimping, routing/assembly, and fiber optic wiring.
  • •Lead and coach employees on electrical operations, testing, referencing, and associated process specifications.
  • •Coach proper usage of electrical test equipment such as TDRs, light loss testers, Milli-Ohm meters, DMMs, and oscilloscopes.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements; report results to site and senior leadership while following Safety and FOD processes.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience with aircraft modifications in an airline or MRO environment.
  • •10+ years of experience with electrical work including cable assembly, electronic troubleshooting, terminations, routing, splicing, connectors, and wire harness closure.
  • •5+ years of experience with avionics equipment and troubleshooting.
  • •10+ years of experience leading teams in an operations environment.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints and communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
