Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a large operational team across multiple shifts, ensuring engagement, performance, and accountability.
  • •Provide direct leadership to Shift Managers and specialist operational support teams.
  • •Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact to exceed service expectations.
  • •Monitor operational performance using KPIs, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and translate business goals into operational plans.
  • •Manage supplier and agency relationships and lead performance management activities, including coaching and absence/investigation/disciplinary processes where required.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience operating as an Operations Manager within logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or distribution.
  • •Strong leadership experience managing large teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
  • •Experience managing key customer relationships and delivering excellent stakeholder management.
  • •Demonstrable workforce planning, resource allocation, and budget management experience.
  • •Must hold the right to work in the UK and be eligible to pass DBS checks (no unspent criminal convictions).
