Job Summary

Join the Fixed Income Investment Grade (IG) Desk as a London Desk Strategist to support corporate debt securities across the UK and Europe. You’ll develop quantitative tools for pricing, risk management, and relative value, analyze credit spreads and market trends, and generate trade ideas and real-time commentary for traders and sales. The role partners closely with DCM to deliver primary transactions, enhance liquidity, and strengthen P&L and market presence while maintaining regulatory and internal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain quantitative analytic tools for pricing, risk management, and relative value analysis of corporate credit products.
•Analyze market trends, credit spreads, capital structures, and regulatory developments affecting corporate issuers.
•Generate trade ideas and provide real-time market commentary; collaborate with traders to structure and optimise trades including scenario and stress testing.
•Build and enhance tools for monitoring positions, exposures, and market risks for corporate credit; prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders and clients.
•Ensure compliance with internal risk, control, and regulatory standards; lead/represent the department on ad-hoc projects and mentor more inexperienced team members.
