Job Summary

Assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department operations at the Berry Street plant by communicating instructions to team members and ensuring they are executed on time and correctly. Monitor production equipment, report maintenance needs, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment. Support line setup and equipment inspections, track attendance rosters, and train/retrain team members while supporting wash-down and quality communication.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate daily department responsibilities by communicating Supervisor instructions to team members and ensuring they are carried out timely and correctly.
•Monitor equipment to ensure it is working properly, notify the Supervisor of needed maintenance, and maintain a safe work environment in line with Tyson policies and procedures.
•Assist with set-up of the production line and perform daily inspection of operating equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
•Maintain housekeeping throughout the production area and ensure required materials are available on the production floor.
•Track daily attendance rosters and assist with training/re-training of new hires and team members; support wash-down to ensure areas are covered and sanitized accordingly.
