Key Responsibilities

  • •Observe production machinery, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and repair or address root causes.
  • •Dismantle machinery/equipment to remove defective parts and repair or replace them using hand and power tools.
  • •Determine and order appropriate materials and parts needed for equipment and facility service/repair.
  • •Lubricate and clean machinery and mechanical equipment while maintaining required PPE and housekeeping.
  • •Train current and new department members on job-related tasks and learn new skills as training opportunities arise.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is required; college, technical or vocational education preferred.
  • •Previous manufacturing work experience is required.
  • •Must be able to read/understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipment manuals.
  • •Must have working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical controls and troubleshoot with schematics.
  • •Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and meet physical demands required for production facilities.
