Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an R&D Software Engineer for SpectreFX, contributing to the development and enhancement of circuit simulation technologies.
  • •Collaborate with global engineering teams to innovate and create state-of-the-art solutions for FastSPICE and mixed-signal simulation.
  • •Analyze and evaluate product issues and provide recommendations within broad parameters.
  • •Analyze customers’ applications and propose implementation plans based on general objectives and knowledge of Cadence product architecture.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong software engineering background with excellent C/C++ development skills in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • •2+ years of experience in C/C++ and EDA development (BS in CS/EE/Math/Physics) or an MS in CS/EE/Math/Physics.
  • •Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
  • •Familiarity with circuit simulation concepts (SPICE, FastSPICE, RF, mixed-signal) or EDA tools is desirable.
  • •Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
