Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and/or defend extension of time claims, including critical path delay analysis and drafting claim submission narratives.
  • •Work with project teams to identify delay events for claim submissions.
  • •Apply industry-standard delay analysis methodologies to analyze and quantify delays on construction projects.
  • •Produce high-quality analytical reports establishing cause and effect and entitlement to EOT.
  • •Evaluate programme updates, schedule integrity, and forensic programme reviews; present findings and recommendations to clients and support dispute fact-finding and report writing.

Key Requirements

  • •8 to 10 years of forensic planning experience, working solely in a delay analysis role.
  • •Hands-on delay analysis and report writing experience using prospective and retrospective delay analysis methods.
  • •Demonstrable use of recognized delay analysis methodologies, including Impacted As-Planned, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), Windows Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built, and Collapsed As-Built.
  • •Solid understanding of delay analysis methods, including assumptions, advantages/disadvantages, and suitability for different circumstances.
  • •Skilled in using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Asta PowerProject (or equivalent) and familiarity with FIDIC contracts (or equivalent).
