Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the office’s quarterly and annual new business revenue goals for the middle market segment.
  • •Develop and execute go-to-market plans for direct reports, including segmentation, target account selection, prospecting, and measurable sales goals.
  • •Recruit, train, mentor, and enable success for middle market producers; act as a trusted mentor and connector.
  • •Maintain an accurate middle market pipeline (prospects, next-best opportunities, stage progression, close probability, and expected revenue) to support forecasting and sales analysis.
  • •Supervise middle market results and pipeline activity, anticipating negative variances and coaching needs; manage prospect allocation and pipeline documentation/prodution credit protocols.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of sales leadership experience in the property and casualty industry, leading middle market-focused producers and new business strategies.
  • •Proven ability to lead new business teams in pursuit of targeted middle market prospects and existing-client whitespace opportunities.
  • •Strong negotiation skills.
  • •Exceptional oral presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate sophisticated messages in written form.
